Went to the pearl this a.m. did a lil fishing, keep a limit of small eater bass! threw back everything else. lost my crankbait, so I had to finesse fish with plastics. oh well end result, smaller fish. it was foggy and it was sprinkling, it wasn't bad, the wind picked up after 12, but it actually help a little.

well most of the time when I bass fish, I got two worm rods, two spinnerbait rods, two crankbait rods, a heavy jig rod and if i'm fishing a place with a lot of grass, in the summer I have a frog rod that is 7'6' with 50ld braid. thats a lot of tricks to show for teasing some bass, right now finesse fishing a small plastic by some wood piling or finding some wood brush in the marsh and fishing a rattle trap or crankbait to cover a lot of water has worked the best for me so far. but I'm willing to bet in a couple weeks every run out with water flowing in the marsh you will catch more than 1 fish at, I fished one bayou last year every run out in the bayou had at least 20-30 fish at each one, picked up a few close to 4lds. just got to get there when the tide is right.

Nice. In my area they are already stacking up. I fish bayous not marshes but when you come along some big laydowns with a few branches and twigs, you can catch 2-4lb fish every cast for a few minutes then move to the next one. Just watch for them damn choupique, they'll tear a spinnerbait to pieces!
