Big Lake S&Gs....

I dont know, just out of curiosity...Who catches the most BIG trout on BIG LAKE...Dont get all bent out of shape and bash the thread its a question and a simple persons name...ive seen the you tube videos of 6-9s caught...just a thought....

I would have to say Bruce Baugh is at least at the top. And Stulb and them don't fish as much as the guides but I am sure their average size per trip would be at the top as well.

For most big trout caught, I would think Jeff because he has been fishing this lake since before we even knew what a speckled trout was. I see Captain Bruce catching a bunch of big ones this time of year too. He has that luxury though because that is what he is known for and people want to go with him to wade and catch a big one. Most guides are trying to fill up an icechest for their clients all year and don't get many opportunities to go in search of a sow. I'm definitely no serious concern to our big trout population!

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky took me out to go get a drink with him? We go off looking for a bar and we can’t find one. Finally Brasky takes me to a vacant lot and says, ‘Here we are.’ We sat there for a year and a half and sure enough someone constructs a bar around us. The day they opened we ordered a shot, drank it, and then burned the place to the ground. Brasky yelled over the roar of the flames, ‘Always leave things the way you found em!

One time I was with Brasky in the back of a pickup truck, along with a live deer. Brasky goes up to the deer and says, 'I'm Bill Brasky! SAY IT!' Then he manipulates the deer's lips in such a way as to make it say, 'Billbrasky' ... It wasn't exactly like it, but it was pretty good for a deer.
