Yesterday's Hunt
 

Well watched weather report Friday afternoon, and again Friday night all were calling for fog till mid-moring, decided to sleep in Saturday morning woke up at 5:00, NO FOG ANY WHERE IN SIGHT!:pissed: Got dressed loaded the boat and my boys and off we went. Wanted to hunt the interior marsh so went on lil scouting trip to try and find a spot, jumped thousand of ducks, but problem was had to walk to get them, and there was no end to the bottom....... very boggy every where we tried, so off we went to our usual spot got set up and waited, and waited, and waited some more. The duck never moved yesterday, we finished with 2 grays, 1 scaup, 1 ringneck. Probably one of the worst days this season as far as duck movement and shooting opportunities, so stayed home today and watching football. Will be back at em again next weekend.

Been having the same problem. Ducks just haven't been moving with this weather. Sat in the fog this mornin and could hear the mallards all around.

they should hopefully be flying mon thru wed with this weather/rain on the way.

Oh yeah my boys had a great time, they have both really enjoyed this hunting season thus far. I hope they continue to want to be outdoors as they continue to grow older. "KID WHO HUNT AND FISH DON'T STEAL AND DEAL"!

Time flys...take them boys out with you as often as you can. Take lots of pictures! Mine are both young adults now...seems like yesterday that I was wiping their snot bubbles after taking a couple of shots! Haha!!
