Well, there is a point on the south end that there has been quite a few fish being caught.

as well as the jetties if the wind is right

Right now the ship channel is holding lots of trout…. With this cool snap we have I think a lot will start moving back into the lake looking for reefs! I would try the channel area or Jetties. Offshore platforms are holding lots of trout also!!! You might even get lucky and find a group or two of birds it the shrimp decide to bail out the marsh!!!!

According to jsmoke just anchor up at the channel marker #56 its loaded with fish all day lol

My luck as usual. got up this am, started outboard, made sure all tackle on boat, thought "should i check troll motor"? No power, got to checking and batteries were kind of corroded. got to looking and jumper for 24 volt troll motor broke at battery. so no go today. :(:pissed:

thanks for all the info. will hopefuly put it to use Sunday or monday.

When you go next time, According to Jsmoke, just go sit at 56 with mullet on the bottom, and smoke em all day. Or go to ensco 86 (waltrip's favorite spot even though he can't fish it)

Just north of Marker 99 is a great reef also. Dat spot is hot right now.
