Biglake report 02/09/2012
 

Me and Tightline11 fished most of Big Lake yesterday. First we went East, then South, then West, then back North. We didn't go farther North than the ICW.
Found some small Reds here and there, but just barely legal. Winds were kicking pretty good, water clarity sucked in most of the areas we fished.
Few other fishermen we saw were all running around and one was fishing. 4 in a Kenner, all they caught were some small Drum on dead Shrimp.

wow, I'm so glad I picked this weekend as my batchlor party fishing trip weekend! terrible weather, muddy water, and the gate to my honey holes closed! hope this isn't an omen!

Winds were bad yesterday. There are fish out there. But not thick, not big.

Goin bill fishin in Costa Rica in March. That is where you go for Batchlor Party...

thought about something like that, but this weekend inshore, and another in march tuna fishing in venice will do me just fine. Good luck, can't wait to see THAT report!

I will be fishing out of Venice in March also. You going with the crew from SC?

He's not on the list Ray, but if we get a couple of more people on the list we can get a second boat.
