Lowrance Endura Safari?

anyone have experience with one of these handheld gps's versus the old h20C? I had an h20c and can get another one, but I wondering are the newer units better. I have heard some conflicting things about the new units. whats yalls feelings on it if you have any

here are my feeling about it, its no better then the new outback model, and the base maps suck, which you can only use the navionic maps as upgrades, (I really liked the map create programs which are now obsolete) which are $200 for navionics. Which was the only reason I bought a Garmin which came with maps for $169, only thing I liked about the endura is that it has a bigger screen then the Garmin handhelds.

oh and if you really want a lowrance I'd get an hds 5 with maps a lot more better cuz it has a screen thats bigger and shows a lot more detail if its for your boat if you need a dual purpose Gps I'd get a garmin. but the garmin 441 which is a boat model is cool has sonar and gps and its very easy to use.

Gotcha, ended up winning the old trusty h20c on eBay. It served me well in my last boat so I'll give it another go. But u are right, the hds5 is nice we have that in our bay boat. I just wanted a small handheld for my duck boat
