Just got word that my 2012 B.A.S.S STATE tournament will be held in Denham Springs, out of Manchac on Saturday April 28, 2012.
First, how the hell does one say "manchac"..?? :confused:

Anyways, Just looking to see what some of yall have to say about this place.

Last year I lost my title by .4 lbs.. which cost me my trip to Table Rock Lake to compete in the U.S. Regional tournament.. It aint happening like that this year, hopefully. :work:

Remind me when it gets closer. I fish that area a lot for the Wednesday evening tourneys that start around that time and may be able to provide some reports. Are you on BassBoatCentral.com?

And I think LPTim fishes that area a good bit and can probably help.

It's good fishing; but you got a lot of spots to choose from till u find the best spot!

Calcasieu River is my front yard.. I got the patience, ask Jeff what it's like over here :redface:.

And Yes, I do browse BBC, will look up some reports on there, thanks.

I gotcha little brother, have fished a many tournaments in the area.

Fool if you come this way scouting before the tourney yell at me I will show u a few of areas to work I grew up fishing manchac and still do when I dont feel like making the drive to hopedale....tons of fish to be caught if you know your areas especially if the wind is not blowing

yep my number is 225 3621786, fished tournaments there several times and can tell you a few spots. as soon as I get my boat out the shop I'll be out there a few times a week.
