day 2 bassmaster classic

anyone keeping up? KVD has been dethroned! Chris Lane is in the lead as of now. anyone else glad to see KVD get knocked down this year? I know he is good but I'm thinking his winning streak is getting old and he is getting Idolized a little too much.

YellowMouth7 02-27-2012 03:47 PM

who won

RODBENDER 02-27-2012 03:52 PM

X1000 Kevin is a really good guy that does a lot of charity work. Matter of fact he came to the aid of Louisiana during hurricanes. He doesn't act like an idiot like many of the other pros. Also he has contributed in many ways to us catching more fish. If you have a KVD square bill in your box you should thank him.

He works hard at his craft and he helps us learn more about fishing. Dude is a G, that being said I do really like Chris Lane and am very happy for him. But watch out now KVD has a chip on his shoulder and that is dangerous for all other elites

I got the silent stalkers KVD cranks and the ones with rattles in em. Believe me I've learned a lot from KVD and I put it in practice. His spinnerbaits advice is topnotch. all around he has put his time in the crafting his techniques and ability to catch fish, even when the odds are against him. I'm glad for Chris Lane, I hope he continues to do good and be successful.

KVD .....is still the best ...one event no big deal this dude catches bass in your toilet if you dare him too
He is the chuck norris of Bass Fishing

BassAssasin 02-27-2012 07:25 PM

He goes catching, going fishing implies the possibility of failure

Fishing is a game of luck guys. Having plenty of knowledge like KVD gives you a better edge. The whole game can be changed when a lower named guy on the elite series gets lucky and pulls a game changing fish. Anything can happen, with ONE cast. Anything. Saying KVD has been dethroned isn't saying much. The guy has plenty of knowledge. Is he my favorite? Hell no. Ott Defoe is the guy. I'm putting my money down now, I bet he has a classic win soon, aswell with Cliff Pace who has a new attitude and will preform better this year without a doubt. Florida is in 2 weeks, and hopefully Cliff does work. Gerald Swindle is top notch aswell. Not stuck up like some, and can make you laugh in a heartbeat.

KVD was fishing down in the LA delta a couple of years ago and was bitten by a cotton mouth that fell into the boat.......after 3 days of suffering the cotton mouth died.
