Lake Champlain
 

My dad called me the other night with some great news. He makes a yearly fishing trip to this lake. He called to ask if i would be interested in joining him. i was like hell yeah but i gotta talk to the wife about the money to go. he said not to worry about any expenses that he would cover everything. I think this would be a great trip to be able to hang out with the old man. now the hard part. talking the wife into letting me go. she wants to go to NY so bad and i have been there countless times.she is kinda pissed im gonna go back without her. soo how would you guys talk the wife into this. has anyone on this site fished Lake Champlain before. i hear its a amazing place to fish.

Tell her she will be there in spirit. Its a great oppurtunity, shouldnt pass it up.

thats what i had planned. we would be headed to destin fl a week after i would get back from NY.

Its easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

I went to culinary school in VT. I fished it a couple of times and caught rainbows, yellow perch, small mouth, and pike. I prefered to fly fish the many streams along the hwys around the state for brown and rainbow trout. The waterways in that area are as clear as tap water.
