Anyone ever fished here? Tips/advice?

Fished one time a long time ago. Back then a person could catch some quality white perch. Most folks pile up within a visual of the highway bridge and fish with shinners for white perch.

ive hunted and fished on black lake since i was a kid......very shallow lake with cypress stumps everywhere so be careful when running an outboard motor bc its very easy to lose your lower unit in that place.........The lake is loaded with bass,sac-a-lait,bull bream,and big catfish. Ive bass fished there quite a bit years ago and always seemed to do pretty good

use to have a camp there, beautiful lake... bring a couple boxes of yoyo's and a case of beer... i've seen a dumpload of beautiful sac's come out of there... wish i had time to fish it again.
