Question for Lafayette area members.

There is a area south of Lafayette that has some real nice homes that I drove through several yrs ago but don't remember exactly where it was or how to get there. The house's are the French country style that is popular now and I want to bring my wife to look around for ideas for our next house, if there are other places around Lafayette to find this style house please let me know. Thanks Jason

Do you remember the name of the road you were on?

All I remember was I came up from around the Kaplan area into south Lafayette to our shop in the Canebrake area.... I know its a long shot but I hope someone can help...... I know it was not the River Ranch area, it was a little out of town.

If you are coming up johnston from maurice, take a right by mcDonalds. Go until you get to the circle K and take a right onto that road. Travel a mile or two, and there are roads going off to the left. Take any one of those roads and get back into those neighborhoods. Buffalo run, or or running deer drive maybe?

We are gonna make a few trips over to look around and will check all of these areas out, thanks Pox I am gonna look at that site for ideas and if ya'll have other recommendations please post them. Do ya'll have any good places over there to look at electrical and kitchen fixtures and appliances?

My parents bought all there appliances and fixtures from Topps in Lafayette for the remodel they just did. They have done business with them for years.

Might of been Stonehaven on the River. Coming from Abbeville to lafayette it's just past the McDonald's on the right.

Seems like I remember following the river
