Bad wreck

Horrible wreck involving semi truck hauling an oversized load and a automobile. Prayers out to anyone who's friends or family involved

Where at? They have been having bad wrecks here in Denham every week shutting down the interstate.

bgizzle 03-25-2012 07:18 PM

Forgot that part. Mile marker 90 i10 east bouts near rayne

jldsc 03-25-2012 07:29 PM

Was on my way back to work in MS and seen it right after it happened. West bound lane right before getting to rayne, it looked pretty bad, semi went through an interstate sign and flipped with the cab smashed into the tree's...if the driver made it through he'll be sore in the mornin. The lil mid-size foreign car was in the median with the front tore off of it with airbags deployed and they werent getting out. I passed within minutes of it happening, looked pretty bad.

Wow thats crazy! Anybody hear on the condition of the people in the vehicles?

Judging by the shadows.....looks like this happened early afternoon. I passed that area about noon.

I was in traffic West Bound behind that wreck Sunday afternoon.. (*****ing the whole time of course) until I seen the damage. That was the most damage I've ever seen on a truck that size in person. The car had already been carted off, I believe. (I didn't see it) Prayers are out for those involved..

Not to take away from this horrible accident, but I'm not too sure what that red 3 wheel thing is in the pic.

Man that is horrible

So said the woman driving the white car had a blow out lost control and ran head on into the semi. I read somewhere online where she lived and sustained two broken legs. The semi driver was not seriously injured. I wonder how many more accidents like this must we have before the state puts up a cable barrier like in Texas so this stops happening?

jldsc 03-27-2012 03:47 PM

they have already started with the cable barrier....theres buttloads of it on I-10

whunter29 03-27-2012 04:03 PM

Thank god

That video is hard to watch. I worry about my wife and kids on the road all of the time.

I drive for a living and I am getting worried with the stuff I have benn seeing happening lately. Just this morning on La hwy13 I had a guy in a car come around me in the fog that nearly took out an oncoming motorist. Ok it's foggy and you want to pass up a truck that is over 50 feet long. WTH is wrong with people. If I wouldn't have slammed on my breaks they would have hit head on.
