went after work yesterday and finally found some trout. its hard learning a new place but im having fun with it. fish was staged in a canal between 14' and 3' flat that was near another canal that came in . i was just catching and releasing. ended up with about 12 or 13 before the sun gave out on me. hope to have alot more reports in the next few weeks.

I have much respect for you. Going out into an area you don't know and are producing fish. I see you are fishing out of a boat now, you traded up for your kayak?

yeah i couldn't stand it i get off at five and can be in the water by 530. i rented a lift down there so all i have to do is push a button and im off.
I loved fishing out the yak but when them knats start you can't get away fast enough. they get rough right at dark.
