That is Maxie Stelly (MAD MAX) from Lafayette. He has a camp next to mine. I tell you boys what, when you gotta get it out there, you do what it takes. I rebuilt my whole camp after hurricane Ike. I carried couches, beds, refrigerators, cynder blocks, tools, and too much other BS to mention. All in my 24' Triton! Like I said "sometimes you gotta do what ya gotta do".

In lots of places I've lived I've had a utility trailer for stuff like lawnmowers and firewood, etc. My current home is in a homeowners association that requires boats and trailers to be kept in the garage. So either the boat or the utility trailer had to stay behind, so now the boat IS the utility trailer. I'm not moving as much mulch and firewood as I did when I lived in Ohio, but the boat gets pressed into alternative service several times a year. This is just what rednecks do... "I feel no shame, I'm proud of where I came from I was born and raised in the boondocks ..."
