Slow on Sabine 3-31

Hit the lake at 3:30 pm.. It was much choppier crossing the lake than I suspected. I hit a cove on the LA shoreline wher we hit the flounder hard last Sat., but no luck. Tried a few more of my favorite spots and zippo. Right at dusk I noticed some bait moving on a flat, so we stopped and started chunking at them.. in about 5 minutes we caught a dink trout, a throwback red and 2 20 inch flatties. But at minute 6, I looked down and I had at least 20 mosquitoes feeding on each leg. My 8 year old son was getting drained by the vampires too, so we headed for the dock.
