De-wifing the boat
Some of my buddies describe the annual process of "de-wifing the boat." The secret for anglers who prefer their wives not accompany them is to invite their wife along on a windy spring day, seat her in the front of the boat, and take a route to and from their fishing areas that ensure a good pounding. Of course, their wife does not ask to come with them for the rest of the season.http://www.pensacolafishingforum.com.../whistling.gif
I prefer to have my wife fishing with me whenever possible. |
JDM4x4 and I got caught in a storm last monday on the south end of big lake...He had his mom with him in their boat, when we made it back to the landing I asked her.."well..is that your last fishing trip"...she just laughed and said nope, BACKFIRE!!!

My wife loves to fish. I can't hardly go without her and I like it that way. In fact she is the one who does not want to leave most times.

During our Alaska trip, we stayed at one of the military resorts in Seward, AK, which is a beautiful place, and one of the benefits of being a DoD employee. Ballistics and blast are two of my areas of research. My wife is a scientific collaborator and a co-author on many of my papers. She has a keen mind, a great heart, and steers me away from a lot of bad ideas. |
