I've been hearing a lot of black water is coming out of the woods, and I had a friend go today and only caught a couple bass. What the heck though, I'm going if I don't do anything I'll probably hit whiskey bay myself.

Dink 04-13-2012 07:05 PM

Montauk17 04-13-2012 07:16 PM

Well since the word is out....yes whiskey bay holds some super slabs. For me the hotter it gets the bigger they get. I like to troll 1/8 oz road runners with 2 poles and bring em close to the pilings. Usually not many people to crowd you either. :D Wish I still had the pics I had on my old phone....my dad and I went two summers ago and caught 35 over a pound.

mallard matt 04-13-2012 07:16 PM
