AC problems
I got home and attempted to adjust my thermostat with no luck, changed the batteries and still, nothing. I went check everything out and the fan in my attic is running but my outside unit is not. I checked the water pan and it is free of water. Called AC company and I haven't heard back from them, don't know what else to do. My unit is a Lennox and is a little over a year old. Anybody else ever had this happen to them?

Problem fixed
It took a tech to come out and tell me that I had to reset my thermostat. Feel like an ***! Didn't even think of that, next time I'll know.

At least it is working.

What that cost ya?
|
cost
The cost was nothing, the guy claimed it under warranty.

Check the breaker for outside unit but it sounds like your contactor. If you have been getting lots of rain ants will get in there and it will not make a good connection

Nice!!

Hey Dink,
Did ya check the Bussmann fuses right by the outside of your compressor unit? I've had these go out before. Change both while you're at it. |
Better than Me I'm going to have to drop $2500 for a new system. I guess after 28 years it's time for a new furnace and A coil. Outside unit is only 2 years old .Switching over from r22 to 410 .replacing everything but the ducts and registers.

There is also a fuse in the unit upstairs. look around the control panel. It is like the flat colored fuses in a car. Mine was burned out and a guy came out to check it out. 250 bucks for a fuse!!!!! X2 on the contacts outside also.
