5-4-2012 Southern Indiana Report

I did a little fishing with a buddy at my grandma's today. We caught a few nice bluegills/bream and he caught a twelve inch redear/chink. We were both using four pound test and each had a bluegill snap our line.

Cook em up! Those are some nice bluegills.

Thanks everyone. It is very odd because you don't see any small bluegill swimming around in there. I think all the dink bass suck up the little gills before they have a chance to grow. Also, I'm guessing having crappie like these in there doesn't help either...

I knew there were crappie in there, but didn't know there was any like that. Those were caught by a couple of buddies on Saturday.

Greene County, so it is probably a little over an hour north of Santa Claus.
