Lost Black Lab- South LC

1 Attachment(s)
He is about 70 lbs with a red collar. Looks to be a younger dog. Lanky and tall. see pic. We found him off Gauthier and Elliot.

I have 3 and don't need another, but couldn't let him get hit. Please contact me if you know of anyone looking for a lost lab.

Is the dog micro chipped? The more people are aware that this is implanted in pets the more the odds go up on returning the pet to the rightful owner.

I took him to the Emergency vet and had him scanned. No chip. I'm going to run an ad and call some adoption services today.

Did you try posting on Facebook? Word tends to travel at light speed on that site!

Call Reina,Gill, and S Lake Charles Animal hospital to report that you found a lab. Odds are that the owners use one of those vets and can possible identify him. Good on you for keeping him safe, my son captures all the strays in my neighborhood for their safety.:)

Posted on FB, called pound and all the vets. Riena had it on their board. He had been missing since Friday. Owner is on the way over now.

GOOD JOB CHARLIE BROWN!
Make sure to tell the owner he would have been found sooner with a rabies tag or chip.;)

Not very well. This lady came pick him up all excited and everything. She even offered to pay me. She gets home and calls to tell me it's not Blackjack. Waiting for this pet adoption lady to call.

Bluechip 05-17-2012 01:01 PM

That sucks.....I bet the lady was saddened to see it wasn't her dog.
