question about limits

Im thinking of taking my five year old daughter fishing friday. Whats the latest regulations on age for licenses and can we catch 1 limit or 2?

She won't need a license and technically you catch your fish and she catches hers. I've never seen someone get a ticket for it.

Yep. You get checked and they ask her if she caught any and shes says no :help:

Licenses not needed till 16. You can keep 2 limits if she is able and does indeed catch her OWN limit. You will probably get several opinions on this post.

That might depend on what Game Warden checks you and what "mood" he/she is in.

If your child says they caught 3 fish [trout] you can not have more than 18 trout in the boat.

2 in boat = 30 trout 10 reds..don't matter who caught them.......

Game Warden will never ask this question..... So fill your limit with number of people in boat

Don't overthink it. Have fun with your daughter. Go for a 2 person limit.
