Transmission shop around laffayette
 

Anyone know of a good shop that does not charge 4k to rebuild a transmission? Mine is just about shot hate to get rid of the truck but no way I am spending the 4 grand I was quoted.

you get what you pay for montauk, but Acadiana Transmission did mine and they have a good warranty and they stick buy it, 3years 75k miles, good people

That is where I went.....looks like its time for something new. Not gunna spend 4 grand on a 95.

i hear you i did it for my 96 just over 3years ago, what you driving, what kind of miles you have on it, i seen a transmission somewhere for a Z71 for $350, i don't know if it is still available or what the details were
