New Sponsor - Liv'n Image Custom Lures

Please join me in welcoming one of the original founders of this site Salty to the site as a sponsor. Many of you have purchased baits from him in the past, I understand his work is very impressive.

Welcome to the site as a sponsor Salty and thank you for your support.

Welcome to the sponsorship side of the site!

Send me a PM when you get the second order of traps in. I'm still in on the quantity I told you I wanted.

So does this mean people will be getting banned left and right once football season starts for sponsor bashing??? ;)

Paul, might have to substitute a floating lipless crank for the Trap. Dude won't let me buy 'em for the same price as before. Claims he made a mistake. I'm gonna call him this weekend to see what the deal is. If you think you're interested, I'll post pics of the crank in a couple days. It's about the same size and weight as the Traps and it floats. It's probably even noisier because those floatin' Traps are not real noisy like the bigger sinking models. Might can even sell 'em a lil cheaper.

Almost

I was actually wondering about this.

Salty, in what you have seen, do the custom paint jobs hold up fairly well with frequent use/fish strikes?

I imagine they would have a higher quality coating than the bulk factory made baits.

Well, first of all, nothing will hold up to razor-sharp hooks bangin' constantly against a bait. Eventually, the rash will show up. I use Devcon and Envirotex two part epoxies on my foiled baits and Dupont automotive clear on the ones that are not foiled. In certain instances I use both. I am 100% sure that this finish is more durable than the finish on the baits on Aisle 9.
