Well, seein how I'll be in biglake next weekend, I went to the bay this mornin. Left the launch way before light to hit the outside reefs that I know and love. Get there and get set up right before daylight so I can get a cup of coffee in. well, when it's light, I see the water isn't too good, pretty muddy, so I start throwin my topwater, and bam! every cast it gets nocked a few feet out the water! finall hook a fish, and it's a gafftop! So, start throwin a poppin cork with a glow/chart ripple mullet, and for the almost the next 2 hours not one cast came in without a fish! none of them keepers, but man it was fun. Caught sandtrout (big ones, but I don't keep em) gafftop, small specks (only 2 keepers), and what i think is some kind of mackerel (didn't keep, cause I don't know what they are). boats started piling up, so I picked up and left with a huge grin on my face. I know only 2 keepers, but man, I had a blast!

You know something....thats what it is all about!!!!! Good on ya! Nothing like watching the sun come up in the morning over the reefs!!!! I'm at work wishin I was out there. Bet that coffee tasted extra good.:D

That water has been cloudy on the reefs at best..don't let that get to your head...ya should of seen the clarity i was fishin' in the bay Thursday...2 inches at best. Great report!

Awesome report!! It's not filling the ice chest or duck strap it's being out in gods country every chance you get

and laughin at the seagulls trying to get my skitterwalk! guess that thing can catch anything!

Beautiful sunrise and easy ride out this morning. Good report, even though you went home with less than other it sounds like you has just as much fun if not more
