My family and myself will be making our first trip to Destin. I was wondering if anybody could give me info on a few things. First is places to eat at a reasonable price and I'm thinking of bringing my fishing pole and doing some fishing off the beach. I think we will be mainly in Henderson State park but who knows. If anybody has any other places, types of baits, etc to help me out it would be appreciated. I'm looking at keeping the fish unless of course I catch a wall hanger but we all know that only Biglake has those.

When I get home I'm gonna shoot myself, hang myself because apparently we bes hanging each other to way much and I'm starting to think like him.

Sand Fleas are the best bait for surf fishing.

Not the type that is found on your hound.

But the type in the surf.

Peeled fresh dead shrimp is second best for Pompano.
