Headed out of Cameron
 

Headed out saturday morning going to try for some snapper for first time. Thinking of going out about forty miles or so. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Guess im thinking ill run out about forty and start hitting the rigs. Also would like to do a little trolling. Any idea what if anything can be caught that distance trolling?

you'll catch kings trolling, maybe even a big jack, but no wahoo or anything that close

Headed out Friday and Saturday, if my crew don't back out, dolphin were around the 40 mile mark 2 weeks or so ago, should still be there. I'll hit you up and let you know what we do friday.

headed out in the morning. If I were you i would start around 238 West Cameron and work the rigs in that area. Shouldn't be hard to find your snaps since the weather has kept everybody from harassing them. Will post a report when I get back.
