Battery help

I have pretty much bought all of my batteries for the last 12 or so years from wholesale battery out on broad st. in lake Charles. I always dealt with Matt Nicholas (local golf phenom) and he has taken very good care of me. I have also had very good luck with their house brand (delstar) batteries. I need some new batteries but when I called over there they told me Matt no longer worked for them. I believe it was/is his family that owns the place. Does anyone know if they still do? Also, does anyone have experience with energizer brand of marine batteries that sam's carries? They are priced the same as the delstars.

Never owned any energizer batteries.

I did buy a couple of delstars from WB. I got about the same "life" out of them as the Walmart and Academy batteries.....they all lasted ~ 22 to 30 months.

I just spent $ 90 on a battery and got it from NAPA on Broad steet. Note: NAPA charged me $ 12 core fee, as I was keeping my old battery.

I buy Big Mamma batteries from a place on Hwy 90 close to the UPS office, have always had good luck with them

Matts family owned Safty Brakes years ago and sold out, he was managing WB, and yes he is a good guy that would help you out.

There were energizer batteries in my boat when I bought it last year. I just changed out the one dated in 07 the rest are dated in 08. Although the boat only had 150 hrs on it when I bought it

I have used nothing but NAPA batteries and have nothing but great luck with them. I have two on the boat now that we're tagged from 2007 when they would put the white paint on them with the date you buy them. They or still going strong.
