Go pro camera

How do you like it? I understand there is no zoom.. That kind of puts a damper on it for me because I would like to use it hunting as well and the action isn't always extremely close. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Brought a buddy with me fishing yesterday. He had one. Wore it on his head all morning and got some awesome footage of reds and trout slamming our topwaters. At least I hope. You can't watch it until u hook it up to something. I'm gonna get him to send me some video and I'll try and post it. If it's legit, I'm going to get one myself.

I have one and have used it for fishing footage, it is awesome hi def video. The drawback is it is not good for much outside the immediate vicinity of where you film. If it's more than 10 yards or so away, it doesn't really work that well. It has great close up capability, but trying to film a deer or duck at thirty yards will be very difficult because the subject appears to be farther than it actually is due to the lens on the Go pro camera.

One of the guys on my boat has one. He was able to put it underwater and film the z drives the other day with quality video.

I have one and I doesn't focus on far objects very well. There's no zoom but you can change the video size which allows it the show further objects a little better. It's good if you're hunting flooded timber and the ducks are up close, it looks awesome. Rice fields, not so much unless you're hunting geese. The camera is awesome for spearfishing videos or to wear on your head when reeling in a big fish. We'll also put it on a pole and dip it into the water as we're landing a fish. Super durable and fun to use when you learn how to use all of its functions. I use mine for everything! I'd recommend getting one.

Something that most people forget is that you can change the fish eye lens for a standard lens and it will shoot better at distance.

I love my Hero 2
