We spent a day at the Polynesian Village, which shows all the South Pacific Island people's cultures. It was really an entertaining day that ended with the traditional luau and fire dancers, etc. We also chartered a boat to drag baits for marlin, we caught a wahoo (ono in hawaii), but no marlin. I think Kona is the place to go for marlin. Skin diving is good at Hunama Bay. And. of course, there is the hike to Diamond Head and the Pineapple Plantation tours. Aloha

Trtdds, pretty much nailed it. Polynesian Culture Center on the north shore is a great place to go. Also paradise cove luau or Germaines luau on the west side of the island near the Disney resort. of course there is Waimea falls park and then the Ali'i Kai catamaran sunset boat ride that leaves from Aloha Tower market place. Don't venture any more west than the Disney/Ko'olina resorts! Hanauma bay is a great place to snorkel and feed fish. Stay out of Waikiki, nothing but touristy things there... Born and raised there, parents still live there, so ask me if you have any questions
