have any of you guys walked in at the Apple store and bought a "service" phone?

supposedly the are like 199.00??

no warranty though??

Soak it in dry rice, for 24 hours without turning it on. worked for my wifes phone but it was only in the water about 20 seconds

Mine took a swim for Easter all I did was turn it off for about 3 days till it dried. Works fine.

Mine was in my pocket while I swam in Toledo for about 20 minutes. I put it in rice for about 3 days and left it alone. Got home and plugged it up to charger and it has worked fine ever since

The rice thing works.

My sister in law just went to the apple store the other day cause she dropped it and shattered it and they gave her a new one for $200. She said its not refurbished. Brand new.

I had to get one at the Apple store in Baton Rouge before and it was a new phone but I had the warranty plain and only paid $25. Now I have life proof case and the insurance plan.

She must be good lookin..........all they offered this ole man was a 'service" phone

Start getting your phone from best buy. $10 a month insurance. Replace the phone in about 3 days no questions asked. Just bring an old phone for them to hook up to use ion the mean time. Done this with blackberry and wifes I phone(twice). I will never get a phone any where else.

you can pay $50 extra when you buy one from at&t then $50 to get a new one if it breaks
