weather sites and apps

What you guys using to check the weather before a trip. Ive been using the weather channel app but im getting tired of waking up early and it telling me 3-4mph then when I get there its 13-14 it seems like. I downloaded weatherbug but havent got a chance to "test" it yet. Im hoping to try it tonight. Its telling me 4-5 so hopefully thats right

I use Rainy days for radar and usually check local KYKZ.com for wind and such...... I have learned that weather channel is almost completely opposite of what actual weather will be

Weather channel and Weatherbug use the airports in Lake Charles. Bouy data is real time. The tide level at the bouy is good for that point but the farther north you go the more of a time lag there is.
