9/28/09 Big Lake Thunder Struck
 

Chris Reed and I blasted out this morning on a long trip!!!! Started off real slow then Thunder storms ran us down south ...... We pulled up to a hole and it was ON .... Pulling em in one after another.... THEN the OVERSEAS Iraq oil mother ship comes down the channel in mock 10 and blew that spot out!! Storms pinned us down farther south until we got a break.... Wind was blowing good but stopped on a reef by the old jetties and it was on again!!! Limited out there...... Rain ran us back down until we went for the break..... Came threw to find about 20 sets of birds working ...... Trout time!!! We tagged and released about 40-50 trout....then called it a day;)
