Venice Offshore 8/22/2012
Went out with a group of guys from work with Capt. Hunter Caballero of Paradise Outfitters. Had a great day catching 14 yellowfin only 11 being keepers and 6 amberjack. Only had to run 12 miles and it was a one stop shop for the Tuna. Left that rig and ran in to another closer rig and made quick work of the amberjack. Tried for some grouper but no luck. Hunter just got a new 41' custom aluminum cat and it is one bad vessel. Look him up if you are looking to go out. He is young but knows his stuff, he and his deckhand worked thier butts off for us. http://www.paradise-outfitters.com/

man only 12miles out. fishing out of venice is crazy close. I do a lot of fishing/deckhanding out of cocodrie, our tuna trips are about 110-140 miles out
