Hog island gully

Does anyone know if I can launch a 24 ft boat at the hog island gully landing? If the weather is bad I wanted to fish west cove and be close to the landing. Thanks

cant think of any reason not too, i launch my 19ft nautic star there without any difficulty, just need to watch the tide cause it can get alittle shallow around the last curve before you get to the ship channel.

If you are planning to fish in West Cove, you might consider driving a little farther south on Hwy 27 and launch at the West Cove boat launch. From there it is ~ 1/2 mile from the west side of the cove.

It is a good launch and plenty of paved parking.
