Hog Island Gully/West Cove Weirs
 

How are the gates for these structures controlled? Who is in charge? Is there a schedule posted or a phone number to call?

There isn't any 800# recording for them like there is for the Grand Bayou wiers, but I suppose you could call Sabine National Wildlife Refuge and the game wardens could tell you if they are open or closed. Last couple of weeks they have had 3 or 4 gates open on Hog Island Gully

Any shrimping reports there?
