Cameron - Ship Channel off the Bank 9/27
 

Decided to fish the rocks about 100 yards South of the Jetties boat launch in the channel this morning before the Cameron courthouse opened. Daylight around 6:30, so fished glow and mardi gras plastics for about an hour and a half before cleaning up for work.

Ended up with 2 specks, both around 23-24 inches, and a nice flounder. More than enough meat to fry for the family this evening, kept some in the bag in the freezer.

Have some work to do in the Calcasieu courthouse tomorrow, so I think I'm going to try the rocks at the Prien Park again tomorrow am. Got skunked this past Tuesday out there with only 2 small rat reds.

Nice haul.... And perfect meal of fresh fried fish.. Can't beat that.
