Ruger LCP

Just got a new to me pistol yesterday. The grip frame is glass filled nylon so it is extremely light. Shot a few rounds with it and it kicks a little for it size but it is a .380. I'm pretty happy with it. I got it and some cash in trade for my old mower with a blown engine so the price was defiantly right.

Got one in Sulphur on the 20th of this month. Going to try and take the class. Looks like they are having one a month at the Lions Club on Maplewood.

I don't think they make the LCP in 9mm. I got one last year when I got my conceal carry permit. Carry it in a pocket holster in my front pocket and hardly notice it's there. Very nice little gun.

Pretty sure they have a 9

It's not the same gun. LCP weighs 9.4oz and the LC9 weighs 17oz. Looks very similar but it's quite a bit bigger. Very good gun but a little harder to conceal.

Nice gun Meaux.....That will be my next one however I will get the LC9

A few people I know have the LCP and those little suckers are LOUD and have a little kick to them!! They are freaking awesome for CC though. I was going to get one for the wife, but don't like the idea of no safety. I went with the S&W Bodygaurd instead.

Fixed it, looked like a yank made that comment :D

To carry it concealed but this allows you to carry it concealed in a number of states, we can conceal them in a vehicle without a permit and I "believe" open carry with no permit

Correct on open carry. But it is restricted in some places

We have to get a license/permit to carry, OC or CC, but it does allow us to carry in a number of states as well. I think LA recognizes IN's LTCH.
