5 lb Brec North Sherwood Bass
 

Weighed on IGF certified boca grip with scale.
Its a little over 5 lbs but not by much.

Caught on my new rod I built from Castaway blank and baston microguides.
Controlled the bass good and this one fought pretty good.

Lure 4/0 trokar hook EWG with centerpeede worm in cottoncandy.
12lb berkley trilene line
They like realistic lures in this pond due to it is clear.

I threw this rod together this weekend. Sloppy job, but works really well.

No I caught a few bigger ones a few weeks ago.
Release him to be caught again.
This one I caught a few weeks ago I didn't weigh, but I know was alot bigger.
