Looking to buy one anyone here have one and how do you like it?

Ryan, I don't have one yet, but have been looking at them and everyone I talk to is happy with theirs.

I have the ST 80# on my 23LS more then enough and the anchor feature is the BOMB!!!

By far the best money I have ever spent on my boat. I have owned one since July and the anchor lock feature will help you catch more specks, as you no longer have to worry about your anchor catching on reefs. Plus you can easily position your boat with the touch of your remote. You will quickly wonder why you didn't buy one sooner. Call Keith at Superior Trolling they have great prices and great customer service.

That is the main reason I am interested in it for the spot lock

I'll use the anchor feature along with my power pole to keep the angle I want.

I have one that I am only holding onto until I sell my boat. I don't want to sell it separately just yet in case someone wants to buy the boat with it. It is 6 months old, used about 4 times. Pristine condition and always stored in my garage. Riptide ST 80# thrust ipilot. $1200

If you can hold off on buying new for a couple of weeks you can save a couple hundred on mine.

WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!! as previously stated anchor mode is the bomb, auto pilot (GPS or compass), cruse control... it is amazing how much more time you spend fishing and how much less time messing with the trolling motor.

pest part is you can sit in the back and let the kids and guests have the front deck.

One of my next toys!!

i've never used one, but fished on the side of a guy who did. It was an extremely windy day, and he would press whatever button whenever he'd hook a fish and it would keep him right on the spot! He didn't have to anchor or power pole down all day! I think your looking at a great investment. I was impressed

I have the 101 on a 24YF and fished Grand Isle last weekend. Spot lock is a super feature and I have been very pleased with the unit. This is my 2nd MK - had one on my 21YF and it will spoil you. Holds up in rough water too. I destroyed several MGs (plastic heads) running the chop on previous boats.

I agree with the MG plastic heads.. What a peice of junk! Thats the trolling motor we have, and its always giving us trouble

How well does spot lock hold you on windy days or high current? I want to upgrade but I hate to lose my foot pedal.

i believe there is a footpetal you can order with them.

I currently have the foot pedal on my Riptide ST. If you upgrade from co pilot to ipilot, you can no longer use the foot pedal. It's either one or the other. kinda suks but, the features of the ipilot may be better even without the foot pedal? This is the only deal breaker for me.

i thought i would miss the foot pedal but...thats what i get for thinking... have not missed it yet.

I have the fresh water series on my 2220 blazer bay and it works like I champ. I went with the fresh water because it comes with the foot pedal and built in sonar for the same price as the salt water series. I wouldn't of bought the fresh water for salt water fishing but after sending emails to MK they said that the gears and the shaft are the same on the fresh and salt water series. The spot lock works great on windy days. I fish Rabbit Island and see people dropping there anchors and they look at me like i'm crazy when i put that trolling motor down but i not only stay close to the fish but can move with them in a hurry.
