Quick Trip to Fausse Pointe

1 Attachment(s)
Went out to Lake Fausse Pointe this afternoon mainly to run the boat and did a little bass fishing for a few hours. Water is very low, but several areas were nice and had moving water. Caught these two keeper bass and one throw back on chartreuse and white spinner bait. Biggest was 19 inches long and weighed 4 lbs. 1 oz., the other was 17 inches long and 2 lbs. 14 oz. We saw a whole bunch of wood ducks and several big flocks of teal flying around. Tried to scout a few places to duck hunt, but everywhere I seemed to go had State Park signs. It seems that they have consumed most of the area. There are some islands in the open lake near the mouth of the c'bon canal that have posted State Park signs on them. I know I can't hunt on the little strip of island, but does anyone know if I can hunt in the open lake part?
