Nice day on da bay

Almost went to Big Lake just because of the flounder but decided to go to VBay. Waited til fog lifted before running out with my overweight hippie buddy. Water was slick calm and pretty. Started out catching a white trout for every speck then found the specks. Kept a few whites to eat and then went to catch bait to try for reds, and tore up my cast net. Decided to try one spot I had caught flounder before and threw some yellow gulp swimming mullets on the bottom and got 5 flounder before running out of gulp decided to head in. Caught the trout on a deadly dudley glow/chart and buddy used a **** of the walk jerk jr or some color that looked like that and of course the ol yellowmouth jigheads, big fan of them.
Only one boat that was a problem but wasn't that much of a problem. They came right next to us and another buddy and anchored down, then left quick. Saw a picture of a 7 lb trout this same buddy caught, maybe he will post it up
