AR Lower/Starter Parts?

I've decided to do a build from scratch on an AR-10. I'm going to hit the gun show in Lafayette and/or Houston, and being that this is my first build I need to know what to look for and what a good price is for something decent...

Can I get something that will accept plentiful/cheap magazines?

Also recommendations on good starter parts that I might find there are welcome, is LPK something available at the shows? Trigger Guards? Grips?

Thanks for the help, and patience working with a newbie...

good luck finding a ar10 reciever kit and parts, I've looked! I've came to the conclusion that its easier just to buy a complete rifle, a regular ar15 would be easier to find parts for. accurate firearms in baton rouge has a couple .308 ARs in stock they're around $1300 each.

and I might be mistaken but there is only 2 or 3 companies that make a ar set up in .308
