Kitchen bath remodel average expense.....

What would you guys think and average kitchen remodel goes for? Bath as well.....new floors, marble counters, some demo....all new appliances.....new cabinets
I really need to start the process, but have no idea where to start.....
I don't want the remodel to look half A$$ but I'd like to not spend a small fortune too.......

It really depends on size of kitchen and bath and your taste. I own a cabinet shop and just for example a set of kitchen cabinets can run from 4k up to 20k depending on what you want. The same with flooring, countertops, and electrical and plumbing fixtures. Get some estimates then set your budget from there.

I am building a new house so everything is from scratch but I am thinking $20,000-$30,000 for tear out then coming back with granite, cabinets, floors, appliances.....

It all depends, I can tell you I charge WAY more for remodel than new construction . As stated b4 I've 15k on cabinets for an entire home and I've also spent 20k on just kitchen cabinets . Are you trying to just tear out and put back new? Or are you adding on and moving walls/ plumbing/ electric?

No less than $10,000 for the kitchen when all is said and done. Custom cabinets start at $120 a foot.

Pox, we are still tying to decide........have a budget of 50K but I would like to do quite a bit too. House has not been updated in 13 or so years and the wear is starting to show...and the style is so different now.......
all new cabinets for sure......some modest wall destruction, but no load bearing stuff
No plumbing but we want to add some electical (lighting)........not adding on, want to stay in the foot print I have, I have the space, it's just laid out terrible.....my fault, I did it, but I had really no help

You should be able to do some very nice upgrades with a 50k budget. Good luck

I kept me existing cabinets and went quartz counter tops and ceramic tile on floors and back splashes with all new stainless appliances (semi high end). about 10 grand.

When I bought my current house 2 yrs ago we gutted the master bath. New custom tiled shower, new cast iron tub, quartz counter top, ceramic tile floors and new rock all the way around even ceiling. The room is about 10 x 14 and I am about $15k poorer than I was when I started.
