Shotgun Ammo

how do you guys keep from wasting your shotgun ammo, i had several boxes that i had to dispose of cause of corrosion and rust, has anyone else had this issue, had it in an orange "dry" box, it was all winchester brand mostly high brass lead shot and a few steel, is this a box issue or a shell brand issue, i like to keep a few boxes on hand, any info on what i can do to prevent this from happening is appreciated

I keep mine in the house. No issues at all.

I was ruining box after box of shells in my shell bag. I switched to a dry box and it has been good so far. Don't know why you're having so much trouble

May be the issue, wanted to make sure it wasnt winchester shell specific, cause my buckshot wasnt winchester and are still good, was planning on getting another dry box, definitely wont be an orange one

You aint shooting enough ...lol
If the seal is missing from the dry box lid it will still get moisture in it,or if any moisture got in it before it was sealed it will cause problems.

Keep dry box inside & open the lid, only close it to take out in the field. Needs air flow. Same with guns. Never leave in a closed case, they will rust unless oiled well.
