Couple of firsts........12/19
 

Well, first report on here at least. And made my first hunt of the year with a good buddy on some public land. Walked in blind, which was a pain in the @ss. Mosquitos were bad, and we only managed one gadwall. Lost another one, which makes me wish I had a dog right now, would have come in handy. Ducks were flying good. They just wanted to land 100 yards from us every time. Oh well, at least we know where to hit em next time. Sorry, no pics, was in a hurry to clean that one grey and get to the office. Boy, he taste good last night though.

Thanks Paul. We actually figured out that if we move over some we will be right on top of the birds. Apparently they just didn't like our pond very much. :shaking:

We have to do that with geese on a regular basis. Ducks out of the blind and geese 100yds down the levee in the grass. The geese don't like our water. LOL
