Wounded Warrior Hunt 12-19-12
 

Unfortunately the birds weren't flying like I was expecting early morning was hot and dead calm. We had to hunt very late to get what we got. Around 9:30 we had our first duck and after 10 two specks came in and stayed. Despite the hunt I know Master Sergeant Ogea had a wonderful time and I believe we have found a great hunting partner for future hunts. He will definately be coming with us again. He is a great guy with a fantastic outlook on life. He wants to go to culinary school, all the Yankee soldiers loved his Cajun cooking. I just wish we could have put him on more birds.

Good time was had by all, the Master Sergeant said he didn't care if we killed anything, just being in the blind was good enough, I did tell him I appreciated the service to his country and like LCD said he is welcome to hunt with us again, great guy and great American.

More of this needs to happen! Great job
