Christmas Eve Solo Prien Trip
 

Decided to hit the water last minute with trout on my mind... started off with a bang. first two casts fish on!! birds decided they liked the action i was on and soon swarmed me. atleast 50 birds working the whole cut. groups of 10 picking hard. managed 7 trout and 2 redfish in the action. once that died down I moved on to da Bayou and slung 10 more fish with only 5 keeping. off the water by 9 today. bait of choice was a sparkle beetle connected to a YMB jighead that was connected to flurocardbon 20lb leader connected to 20lb super slick braid connected to a curado that was connected to my shimano cumara that was connected to my niiiinja grip, hand, forearm, upper arm, and finally torso. :rolleyes: Didnt touch my depth finder once soo i couldnt tell you what the temps were.

underarmor shirt underneath a salty cajun shirt with khakis (which were connected to my hanes boxer briefs), socks, and sandals did the damage today. normally I dont wear socks with sandals but I am a risk taker. trying out a new brand i had layin around in the truck soo i said what the heck.... thanks fruit of the loom!!!!
