Jig molds....

I used to make them and have some of these molds some where. By the time you pay for propane, ruin a few heavy sauce pots, buy paint and brushes, and scald you fingers good, you really don't save money. I used to melt tire wieghts, etc. for lead. Do it if you just enjoy the craft, but don't imagine you will save money.

I've made tons of weights. Mostly eggs and rounds for cast nets. If you dont have an outlet $ for them your wasting your time. One 50lb bucket of lead will make a lifetime of weights for anyone.
If your not familiar with working with lead it can burn the he11 outta ya. And the lead fumes are hazardous. Keep your kids away lead causes brain damage.
Now ya know whats wrong wit me... sk
