Rain

Ok would someone find the little old lady who is on her knees praying for rain and tell her it is okay to get up! All this fresh water is really going to mess up my fishing.:pissed:

I just wanna fish. It has rained on almost every one of my days off in the past 2 months. If it keeps going, next week I'm gonna launch in the coulee behind the house.

My friend indicated he only got 3.5 inches in Maurice.. I saw the gage.. I know I got more than that here on Hwy. 167 by Courtesy Motors, on the edge of Abbe.

Dumped 5 inches out of my gauge near Maurice this morning.

This is my first winter down here and my flats skiff is just sitting under the porch. The temperature sure beats Idaho (it was -10 or so every night last week) but I sure aren't getting any fishing in. Good thing I have four more months...:D

meaux fishing 01-10-2013 10:56 AM

I got 5.5 inches tuesday/wednesday havent looked at the rain gauge today yet but judging by the water Id say another 3 inches for sure last night

I got almost 7" in the last 3 days here in Moss Bluff. Some of the upper Calcasieu river got even more rain. The saltwater fishing areas will get a good "FLUSHING" of fresh water.

Forcast is for more rain starting up on Saturday and then a real cold front coming thru the middle of next week. Highs will be in the 40's one or two days.
