Only 8 Months until Teal Season
 

Spoken like a true addict.
It was a pretty good duck season for me.
My buddy and I hunted his pond, mostly we hunted by ourselves in separate blinds.
I made 4 teal hunts and killed 16.
I made 29 hunts during the regular season and killed 162. (5.59 ducks per hunt) I kept count of my shots 390 - 2.41 per duck. I'm not that good of a shot but I let them get close. It got slow near the end of the season, the big rains washed us out -the level in the pond got too high.
We'll see what happens next year.

ive had a decent year... got a couple of hunts left before it closes in the east

I cant complain about the year... when you go from lease to NO lease you will take anything. A few good peeps on this site (Micah and Duckgogetter) were kind enough to bring me on a few hunts. I got the fever thats for sure... the next 8 mts are gonna be hard for me lol.

Two more weeks of specks then it's catfish time!

8 long months, I thought my nine year old was going to cry yesterday afternoon when we left the marsh, he was upset.

I have one more week to hunt my Texas lease.

Ya'll aint right!

X2 I'm gonna be busting those specks till the end but the lack of wind the past few days been killing us. Only got 2 today. Feels weird having ducks land in your decoys and not being able to shoot them.

Hell yeah now i'm ready to kill some specks or try to. Can't wait til teal season also, but there's alot of bass to catch between that.
